Homework Group Remodels ICT Centre at Akande Dahunsi Memorial High School
In October 2022, a significant transformation took place at Akande Dahunsi Memorial High School. Initially, the ICT centre was in dire need of modern upgrades to better serve students and faculty. Recognizing this need, as part of our corporate responsibility program, the Homework Group stepped in to spearhead an extensive remodel.
Consequently, the team began by assessing the existing facilities. After a thorough evaluation, they identified critical areas for improvement, including outdated equipment and insufficient workspace. To address these issues, we proposed a comprehensive plan that included new computers, ergonomic furniture, and enhanced connectivity throughout the centre.
Moreover, Homework Group collaborated closely with school administrators and teachers. By doing so, they ensured that the remodel would meet the specific needs of the students and align with the curriculum. Thanks to Group Managing Director and volunteer efforts, as part of the corporate responsibility program, the remodel was completed ahead of schedule. This collaborative effort not only improved the facilities but also strengthened community ties, as local businesses and parents contributed resources and time.
